The challenge
Large retail and warehouse roofs built from profiled metal sheeting are highly prone to condensation. When warm, moist internal air meets the cold underside of the roof, moisture forms and can drip onto stock, fittings and floors below, a persistent problem across the kind of expansive roof span found at a Trago Mills store.
The roof also offered limited thermal resistance, allowing significant heat loss across a very large area. Any solution had to treat condensation and improve insulation together, be applied across an extensive roof underside, and follow the profiled sheeting and structure continuously to be effective at scale.
The ThermoFoam solution
ThermoFoam applied Enverge closed-cell spray foam to the underside of the warehouse roof. The closed-cell foam self-bonds to the sheeting as it cures, forming a continuous, seamless layer that follows the roof profile across the full span with no joints or fixings for moisture and air to bypass.
By warming the internal surface of the roof, the foam removes the cold underside on which condensation forms, directly tackling the moisture problem while adding genuine thermal performance. ThermoFoam worked to the manufacturer's specification, controlling thickness across the large roof to deliver consistent anti-condensation and insulation cover.
The result
The Trago Mills roof gained a continuous anti-condensation and insulation layer across its large span, addressing dripping moisture and reducing heat loss over the retail warehouse space. The Enverge installation is backed by a 25-year manufacturer-backed product warranty, giving long-term protection across the building.
